I spent nearly 20 years clawing my way up the masthead at national magazines and regional newspapers (Outside, Yoga Journal, American Cowboy, Mountain Time, Aspen Daily News, Boulder Daily Camera) and currently serve as editor of Parts & Self online magazine. 

What does this mean? I make writers look good. I’ve collaborated with hundreds of freelancers over the years, furthering their careers by steady mentorship. I’m sensitive to both sides of the writing relationship and respect the emotions and ambitions of writers in the struggle to capture their signature voice. My feedback is clearly structured and supported by logic and experience. The goal is to create relevant work that resonates immediately. I can help with manuscripts, sales materials, and copy of any kind.
